Going to call the rangers station in a bit. If 120 isn't closed I think I'm going to head up. Most of the snow should fall today. Should make for an epic landscape.

Just a heads up. 120 is closed just past crane flat for the season.

 

I'm thinking about staying at Hogdon Meadows as long as there isn't 3 feet of snow on the way up 120.

 

Thinking about canceling the trip to Tahoe tomorrow. Might go stay along the coast instead for the weekend.

 

There's isn't through access. There's a gate they close on the 89 side, so at some point, you turn around. But i believe you can always access the sly park side. They put those signs there so soccer moms in mini vans don't get stuck

 

Oh gotcha. I think you’d be fine. Might wait for Sat afternoon though. Supposed to clear up by then. It’s windy AF right now.

 

Thinking tomorrow morning until Sunday, but we shall see. Still waiting on if anyone is joining.

Roof top tent. Zero degree bag and a few wool blankets.

 

Wish i could be about that RTT life.

But I'm not hauling my 85 lb dog up one those aluminum ladders.

 

I might go. Just gonna sleep in the bed. -20 bag + heater should be good.
