Been contemplating this. I understand the concept of skinny tires is good for snow and ice but what about airing down a little on snowy icy roads to apply nor traction over the road surface. I have read both and would like more feed back. I currently have 265/75/16 ko2s. At 35psi. I know they are e rated and I have a light truck:). Should I air down more to let them settle into the road??

Not on the highway. More ground pressure is needed on hard pack, not less. Off road in deep snow? Yes.

Agree with hiPSI. Used to air down on ice covered roads locally and air back up before getting back on highway. Think I used to go down to about 12 or 13 if I remember right.

Sounds good. I have read conflicting info on the web. Good to start hearing some of TW feedback!
