Put 255/85/16s on stock OR wheels and suspension

Whats the backspacing on those wheels? JBA says we need at least 4.5" BS with their UCA. The underside of my UCA is all raw metal since the tread and sidewall would rub at lock.

From what i got, the OffRoad wheels have an ET of -25, which is like 3" of backspace.

 

TRD Offroad stock wheels are +25 with 5" of backspace

Offroad are +25 os, 5 BS might be to much to run the JBAs. Mine are just above 4.5 bs. I would contact/email marlin at jba.

Damn, I wonder why I'm rubbing under the UCA then. So as It stands I have 6.25" of back space then to clear the UCA? Seems a little off.

 

With a 16 x 8 wheel; you would need 0 offset and 4.5" backspacing
With a 17 x 8.5 wheel; you would need -6 offset and 4.5" backspacing

With the JBA UCA's I would look into a wheel with the above offsets and backspacing. The width of your tire will also come into play. Looke for as tire that has an approved width for the appropriate wheel to fit.

For example: The Cooper ST Maxx in 285/75R16 should not go on a stock offroad wheel (16 x 7, +25 with 5" backspacing) according to the specs. Minimum should be a 7.5" wheel. This would also help avoid rub on suspension and body/frame components.

Makes sense, I just figured that since JBA said that I would need minimum 4.5" of BS to clear the UCA I would have with 5" of BS on the stock OR wheels. I reached out to Marlin from JBA and he linked me to wheel spacers lol.

 

will 255 70 18 falken wildpeak fit on a 2016 limited stock wheels and lift?

 

Okay. Got my 2.25 inch ARB OME lift installed, stock wheels with Cooper Discoverer ST MAXX tires in 255/85 R16 (truck looks awesome!). How much pressure are you guys running in these E rated tires?

Really like to keep my stock wheels when my foxs come in

 

No wheel spacers necessary. And as far as UCAs, also not necessary as the stock UCAs work perfect.
