One last thought on lights, while following @riz_atx down the trails I have to admit it was very impressive each time he turned all his front lights on and brought daylight to the darkness.

 

With everything you're throwing at your truck lately you might as well be. Just throw a sleeping bag in there and call it good!

 

That’s what we usually do when we goto Tyler but plan on a serious trip this summer may get a better tent is all. Will be my first real trip in this truck.

 

Sounds like an Overlander in the making to me.
What kind of tent are you thinking about.
RTT, Compact or Roomy?

 

Lol eventually don’t have the funds for rtt protecting my DD is most important to me but a roomy comfy pop up more than likely not totally knowledgeable about them need to do some research

 

For a larger roomy tent I highly recommend the . Coleman 4-Person Instant Cabin. That what we have and have used them for several years. They have survived several storms and setup very quickly.
They also have a larger version they call a 6 person tent. We have both and your Welcome to check them out if you want.

@riz_atx Horn trains perhaps in the future perhaps?..use them at a railroad crossing an the gate will come down happened to me from a dually coal roller a couple years ago.

 

I have an air compressor Adding a tank and some multi-horns would be sweet af! Ill add this to the future list

Forgot the name of the guy that did the little raffle for decals when we met up at cabelas but I finally got mine on, it was made for the side rocker panel but I modified it to fit the tailgate. Wanted to say thanks again for that little raffle. Super cool. Meanwhile got some new UCAs I installed this morning now getting an alignment
