3rd Gen Quicksand thread

Hell I like it...

 

This kit provided just under 2" of lift in the front and none in the rear. I installed an HS progressive AAL for about 2" lift in the rear. The kit is a Tacoma tuned Billstein 6112/5160 setup. It rides firmer than the stock OR but in my opinion it is a nicer ride due to less body roll and nose diving. Toyota clearanced them for about $600 for the setup over the last couple of weeks (they were originally $1500). They sold out quick for obvious reasons. You may be able to find a kit at a local dealer or from a TW member that decided against installing it. It is a great upgrade IMO.

I have concluded that the QS looks the best in dark cloudy days. Awesome photos!

 

On the fence. I bet it looks better when you are sitting in the truck and can see some QS hood color also?

 

i think it looks freaking awesome. where did you get digital camo vinyl? do they make it in other colors?

 

actually the lighter color in the wrap is like a creme tan with a touch of yellow, quite a bit lighter than the color of the truck. The mid color in the wrap matches quicksand almost perfectly, but there's so little of it in the pattern that it isn't obvious. Honestly, this is one of the reasons I'm on the fence as well with it. I thought it would match the truck color better. But I do like the pattern. In certain light conditions it looks really cool.

I've used their wrap before on other cars, decent quality and their costs are not over the top.
