Transmission gear position on display?

Anybody know if there's a way to get the trans gear position to show on the display? When in S drive it shows what gear you're in when you shift it manually, I'd like to see what gear I'm in when shifter is in D mode, right now it just shows "D" & the odo mileage, it shifts so damn fast and early I lose count, just getting old!. Just throwing it out here to see if it's possible......17 TRDOR DC. Thanks

You can get a Bluetooth OBD reader and OBD app and monitor through your phone.

BTW when is S mode it’s not showing you what gear you are actually in, it’s showing you the max gear you’ve allowed it to go to. Put it in S4 and it’ll show 4 when you are in 1,2,3 or 4.
