    ....hi, folks!
    New to the forum.
    I have a 2007 Tacoma 4x4 club cab...bought new in in '07.
High miles, but I've taken very good care of my truck.
Went out to drive into town yesterday and my motor would not turn over.
The transmission was stuck in park.
Even when popping the little cap and depressing the transmillion release button, it would not move.
I removed all of the console...everything down to the floor shift assembly, where I detached the cable from the shift lever on the assembly.
The cable itself, running down to the treansmission, will not budge!
....any help is very much appreciated!

I would disconnect the cable at the transmission to verify if its the cable that's stuck or something in the transmission.....doesn't explain why it "would not turn over" if its in park it should still start

Aux back up lights, Bed lights, Re-located trailer plug, Good dooby, a.k.a. jumper cable mod, Heated seats, back up camera,
Neutral safety switch. It's on the passenger side of the tranny. I had a similar issue in that it was hard moving the shifter. Spray some pb blaster behind the NSS and let it do its magic.
