    Hi guys.
I am looking to buy another Tacoma.
This one ,is very very nice ,but I suspect that the previous owmer had some work done on the back passenger side, which the Dealer did nt know, were not told,or claim that they never noticed it.If they did a close inspection,,they had to noticed that,i did in five minutes.
I will get the history from Toyota Dealer only Monday, yesterday they could not access on the internet for the history of that vehicle.
This is also what they call the Edition one, kind if full loaded and leather finish( vinyl)
My concern are some sratches on the tail gate, which they should take care of,but that door worries me more, then some minor scratches, specially all over the tail gate.
Hinges, and bolts are the originals, closes very well, but the end of the door, that little ridge is rough and sharp, like it was opened agains a cement wall, but the whole end like vertical section is rough! When you pass you hand on it it very cutting sort of!( excuse my french lol)
I told the guy, something hapened for sure! Also we can see that something is a litlle strange in the paint finish near the window..
Then he replied maybe they did nt sand that part properly, which that did not reassured me.
They are suppose to fixe that too,but how come I was nt told?
Over the phone he told me that all there cars are very well inspected and this one was in perfect condition,,Sorry, not in perfect condition!
Also his dash ,over the glove compartment has some nicks,ok again not the end of the world, but they should have told me,it does bother me.That can be fixe by professional from Toyota, but that s another 150 dollars which they wont do,because he told me that they are fixing enough issues on it for now,,,lol
The more i think about it,well,it s a very nice Tacoma, love the colour and so on,but I might pass it.It does nt have much milages, under 30 thousand kilometres..
Price is 33,000 plus taxes and not a penny less.
So,i have to decide by tomorrow, specially after the history report..
If there was a major,or accident i wish they would tell me!
Bybthe way ut is a very nice Toyota dealer ,and it s been there for three generation of thee family.
    Thanks

I will ask for some pictures from that side.
I only have pictures from the passenger side which were on the Dealer website.
    Regards

    Thanks ,
My seller will do that tomorow, and he seems pretty honest ,and like yesterday he told me that scratches on that tail gate specially two of them will still be there ,but they will do there best to at least try to buff them and hide them a bit.
But for that door,i want to know what happened, and also a guarantee that it was not something that in a year that this door will start to show rust, etc etc.
I want to have tomorrow pictures from that side of the Tacoma,to see if we can see a difference in colour,,silver is a pretty hard colour to hide if there was major repair.
Yesterday i was just too much into trying to decide if i buy or not and forgot to take pictures of that Tacom a myself. :(
