Surprised they make the Prius there. There too many here I would presume they manufacture them domestically.

Seriously. Every other car in California is a Prius.

One time in 2001 or 2002, my dad and I were at a high school football game.

We were living in Oak Harbor, Washington at the time. Some kids from my middle school who I didn't know personally, but picked on me at school sometimes, were sitting near us on the bleachers.

One of them thought it would be funny to stick out his foot and trip me, not knowing that my dad was sitting right there.

I tripped over his ankle and went tumbling, but luckily not far, and I did not get hurt.

My dad is never violent or confrontational, but he saw this whole thing transpire...

The kids were seated directly behind us, and neither of them were there with their parents. My dad spun around at lightning speed, and got right up in this kid's face. I didn't hear exactly what my dad said, but I'm pretty sure it was something like "If you do that to my son again, we're going to have a problem. Do you understand me?"

All the kid could do was nod his understand, and I'm guessing he probably checked his whitey tighties the next time he went to the bathroom...

Needless to say, those little twats left me alone for the rest of the time we were at the game, and I don't seem to remember them bothering me at school, either...

You are correct. My wife’s 16 T4R is Japan. The fit and finish of a Japan made 4Runner is way above the American Taco and tundra having owned all 3 now. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Tundy and you will have to pry it from my cold dead hands, but the QC fit finish of my wife’s T4R is evident it came from japan.

I encourage people to use my story and these images as a learning tool, to discourage people from driving drunk!

Those 50 cars that get off the road may save someone’s life. Even if they get one drunk off the road it’s worth it.

Discourage all you like, at the end of the day, alcohol, and most other substances, disinhibit, and replace the ability to make rational decisions with erratic behavior. Even those who are not "addicted" may be "struck stupid"

why should driving drunk deserve the death penalty when very few people who murder get the death penalty or even a life sentence. I agree drunk driving should have harsh penalties but death for 3 dui offenses?

Here's a story about my backup camera that even you will respect, as anti-backup camera as you are...

When I got hit by the drunk guy back in October 2015, the drunk guy almost immediately lawyered up, thinking he could plead not guilty. Obviously, with his past record, there was no way in hell that was gonna happen (he'd killed someone while driving drunk in the 1980s, and while he'd done his time and had a valid license at the time he hit me, he still obviously hadn't learned his lesson). The bar where I work is owned by one of the best lawyers in the Northeast (possibly the country). When the accident initially happened, and I was afraid this scumbag was going to try to sue me for damage to his Mercedes, I talked to the lawyer who owns the bar, and he was going to represent me pro bono (for free in legal jargon). Luckily, my insurance company ended up handling all of that (they paid to fix my Taco, didn't jack up my rates, and refused to pay one cent towards the Mercedes). The insurance companies finally went to court in April 2016, and the drunk guy's DUI case didn't go to trial until May 2016. The prosecutor called me at home to get a statement, and it was at this time I learned the twat had killed somebody while driving drunk in the 1980s. The prosecutor wanted to know about me as a person so he could build his case against this guy, and he asked me where I worked. I told him that I barbacked at so-and-so bar, and he immediately paused. Obviously, he knew the owner of my bar, and he promptly told me that the owner of my bar was representing the guy who hit my truck!

Luckily it ended up not being a conflict of interest, and the owner of the bar got me a decent amount of restitution money which I put towards a touch-screen head unit (which replaced the Pioneer I gave you), a backup camera, and a dashcam. Spending someone else's money was never so much fun!

So, about a year or so after that, the owner happened to be at the bar talking business with my boss (the Asian woman I'm always talking about). I had to move my truck to a different parking space, and the owner did not know I had a backup camera installed in the truck...

He was watching me back up, and he was sure I was about to take out the wrought-iron fence surrounding the outdoor patio area. I came within inches of that fence, but unbeknownst to him I had it under control. I actually saw him in my rearview mirror, and the look on his face was absolutely priceless!

I got out of the truck and said "So, that restitution money you got me? You do know what I spent it on, right? A backup camera!" He told me was literally expecting me to take out his fence, and we both had a good laugh...

After a little less than a year with the Boss BV960N, I found myself to be rather dissatisfied with the unit. The Boss worked as intended, but it's lack of built-in iPod control made it essentially just a basic AM/FM stereo with a CD player and an AUX input (and navigation). The USB port was absolutely useless!

These pictures detail the third dismantling of my truck's dashboard in roughly a year and a half!

I remembered (incorrectly) removing the A-pillar trim to run the wire for the Bluetooth, but luckily my neighbor stopped me before I was able to unscrew it...

Who told you that it was not a conflict of interest? That sounds like a HUGE conflict of interest.
