I'd meet you in Asheville. If I come to Charlotte first It would add an extra hr or so.

 

All routes for me go through ATL unless I want to go way the fuck out of my way...was so much better for my drive when it was Windrock.

 

Sweet, that's my preferred route, real pretty drive. Screw going through ATL.

 

My odds of going are increasing. I am about 90% in at this point.

I will be camping if I stay overnight @stronghammer

Yep, ,that stretch through the Nantahalla Gorge (sp?) is pretty sweet

 

Ok so I have no clue what the google maps is thinking but there is a route that I would go up 77 to Wytheville Va then 81 S to AOP . But that route I could hit Richland Rd and do a side hike at Hanging Rock

 

All of you SC guys should just move to Alabama. It's closer to everywhere except Uwharrie.

Ha, no QT at this exit. its a good spot, we have met up here for the past several trips out this way

 

I am wanting to head out early like arrive @ AOP around lunch give or take.

 

Thats How I roll. generally leave house by 7, Asheville by 9, then AOP by Lunch'ish

 

Screw each and every one of you guys with your reasonable drive times. Until you have a double digit (in hours for anyone that is smartass enough to post a 48 minute drive), I don't want to hear shit. I'm looking at 12 hours each way.
