Hood release doesn't work

    My hood latch doesn't work, the cable seems too loose behind the latch, as I can hook my finger around it and make the hood release. Is there any simple way to put tension back into the cable there

    I have similar issue. I pull the latch and then I have to pry it open.......

    I had the same problem with my old S-10. Once you get it open lube everything up with WD-40.
