What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

You know...you could get pulled over for running with your license plate backwards? Might wanna fix that.

I think the Gashole is a great mod, but I decided to do my own gas cap mod. Just took the tether out from its original spot and moved it over to the next hole, and I just hang my cap from the door latch.

 

Just run the part number but most likely if it’s straight from a website it is standard 600#. Is it aluminum bumper or steel?

Ok will do and figure it out. Aluminum bumper. They offer steel. Aluminum is only 25 lbs more than stock. The winch install makes the front end heavy if you go that route.

 

If I do install a bumper I might leave out the winch for a bit. Thanks bro

I've used the search function til my eyes bleed so I'll just ask.. has anyone installed a Jerry Can Holder on a 3rd Gen stock rear bumper? If so, which one? Don't need dual or swing out. Would take it off during the week. Something simple that doesn't take up room in the bed.

 

Had to add a comment for all of those who said that their license plate lights washout or glare too much on the back-up camera... simply turn off your headlight switch and the camera image comes in crystal clear. (I did upgrade my reverse light bulbs to LED to help the camera see.)

 

I'll grab a side view pic later today and post it. The level kit is a zone 2.5" kit and was installed by The Edge Automotive in Englewood, CO. Scott and Chris are awesome over there. No real difference in ride after the install but I do think the stance is just slightly higher in the front now, which is ok with me. Next up are 285's, but that might be a little while.

 

Did you order these from Cboy? Looks good, I just ordered identical ones!
How was it taking off the OEM ones and what about putting the new ones on? Any problems I might run into?
