Has anyone tried to replace the stock grab handles on the driver and passager side with Paracord handles like these:

    https://www.amazon.com/Bartact-TAOG...rds=paracord+grab+handle&th=1#customerReviews

I've seen people just wrap their existing ones but personally don't like the existing ones no matter how you dress em up. Saw a jeep with these and loved them. Was wondering if anyone tried the swap. Thanks!

Do you have any pictures of yours? I'm sure i can find something online i just trying to get a sense of how they attach. If theres an eyelet on the handle like the epic i linked and any washers or anything. Thanks for the info!

Edit: I'm dumb. i looked at the link you sent. I may be able to rig something up just from looking at the photos

there is no washers on 08yoters. I will grab a picture when I go to lunch in about 1.5 hours.

The install instructions are as follows:

    1. Pop off covers from OEM handles with a pick or small screw driver
    2. remove 2 10mm bolts holding the handle on, on each side.
    3. light tug to take off the handle. I just put the covers back in the handle part, to keep everything together
    4. insert the 10mm bolts through the loops on the end of the paracord handle, and tighten them back to where they were in the A pillar.

its as simple as that! No extra washers or anything.

Or you can ask someone how to do it learn from a free video. This is not building a house or rocket science.

    are these actually useful?

    they look good

but seems like it would smash your hands moving

the stock handles stay put no matter what angle you grab or try to go

A shot YT video and you can make them yourself for the cost of the paracord. Very easy to do.
