Got it all mounted up today in about 3 hours including a run to Home Depot and punching the holes in the weather stripping.

Gonna load it up with some front runner Jerry can holders and a Plano case next.

This @erok81 rig. Really loving his kchilite gravity lights.....
Question is, is there some way a prinsu rack would accommodate these bad boys? Than your typical LED bar.

Boy how things have changed! It shouldn’t be too hard to hook it to a rack. A couple brackets for the sides and one for the center and you are good. I think the guy that oringally inspired me to grab those lights had them on a roof rack.

If you do mount front runner jerry can holders and a plano case you will not be able to pull in that parking again, you'll rip your shit right off....

I’m only putting those on when I go camping and leaving the base plate on there permanently. No reason to tempt honest people...

I have the MAXSA traction boards and the holes line up in the middle of the prinsu cross bars. Any of you have advice for mounting or what pieces/size hardware would work for this?

No, but think I found my own answer. 1/4 carriage bolts for one end, then probably cable lock the other.

I just used 4x 1/4” carriage bolts with some 4 prong knobs (DimcoGray Black Phenolic 4 Prong Knob Female, Thru Hole Brass Insert: 1/4-20" Thread x 1/2" Depth, 1-1/4" Diameter x 7/8" Height x 5/8" Hub Dia x 3/8 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0015HQ4JS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_F4gtMvbXH5gPR) and some fender washers (originally just used some wing nuts) to attach mine. I use a short section coated steel cable + a lock through the handles and around the prinsu bars to “lock” them down

I'd just use a long carriage bolt with a washer and wing nut. Then get some type of cable lock, that's what I did and you can get it all from Home Depot

I have had my rack on for a few months now. Love it.

I used the silicon that is recommended in the threads for the roof mounting holes. Does anyone know how long that will last? Should it be periodically inspected. Sketches me out knowing in drops into the headliner.

    Thanks!

Thanks! Eventually going to get the weather stripping. Just a matter of time.

In the meantime, my Prinsu does a pretty good job of supporting the snow!

3in lift. 285X70RX17. 3/4"Bora Spacers. Softopper. Prinsu Rack w/ 40" (amazon) light bar. Spyder Headlights. LED strips installed under bed rails.
What kind of brackets did you use to install the lightbar? I was thinking of getting an Amazon light bar and ordering the brackets prinsu offers. Not sure if they'll be compatible.
