Noticed this too when I was trying to order something last week.

 

Did you get in contact with them and able to place an order?

 

No. I actually moved on.

 

I'm not paying 4WP or Wheeler's markups on shipping. Both come out closer to $100 for UBJs. I'll wait

I went to a previously visited page on their site and totally overlooked the home page

 

It is all back up and running.

We figure instead of just having people buy products and sit and wait for it to ship we will shut the site down and process the orders we have and get caught up. Don't know if this is the best approach or not but really hate holding peoples money without being able to fulfill the orders right away.

 

I think that's fair. People might get bummed that they aren't able to order something right when they want to...but that's far better than the reaction people have when they did spend their money and feel they're being ignored/aren't being prioritized (even if that's not the case).

 

That's good to hear. I think it's a very good approach.
I didn't notice it on the homescreen, because when I started typing your web addy into my browser, I simply followed the auto-completed link which took me directly into the 2nd gen suspension section. My bad. (Thanks for making me look stoopid Chrome)

LOL sure blame chrome. Well we win some and we loose some we just try to do right by our customers in anyway that we can so if that means we loose future orders just to get the people who have paid taken care of then it is what it is. We just really hate overpromising and under-delivering especially if it is something within our control. We are not the company that is going to keep taking payments and not be able to fulfill orders in a timely manner. Too many companies operate like this and there have been several on this forum who are no longer vendors because of it.

I spend too much time oogling all the suspension goodies on your site that it's made it my go-to on there

I blame the internet for things too. I have even gotten myself in trouble by adding somethings in to a cart and then deciding against them and abandoning the cart. Only later to add something new into the cart and I ended up buying it all. Not that I didn't want it all but it made it nice to be able to blame the internet for why I spend more then I should have.

 

Just another great example of how @HeadStrong Off-Road does business. Absolutely the best customer service around. So many other vendors that will take your money when they are behind on order fulfillment.
