Replacing windshield in new couple weeks, anything to do? Raise mirror, etc

I am having windshield replaced soon. I am certainly going to have installer raise mirror up to the top. Anything else I should consider doing while glass is off?

 

get a vacuum and clean up the gunk under with cowl
add a rodent screen at fresh air inlet
get new wiper blades
only use vinegar with water and newspaper to clean it on the inside
don't open/close the doors hard for two days and leave a window open about 1/8 inch

pay attention to the road and not the nice new windshield

 

This reminds me, I should probably replace my windshield... between living in CO and 4wheeling a fair amount, my windshield lights up like the damn Milky Way when the sun hits it.

 

Craigslist, $140 installed w new seal. Been 6yrs good to go
