    thanks man, just bought one! my quad has desperately needed one of these for a long time... no more digging around in two feet of mud to try and attach a winch hook to a small hole! :bikewhoops:

    its all good haha I kind of figured I wouldn't get it, part of me didn't want it but it would have been awesome to get it hahaha I was just a little too late. hopefully next time I will get to it on time lol I just cant justify paying 1100 for a brand new one, I don't mind spending 6 but not really in the mood to spend more then that for a roof rack

    I know prinsu look good af! But have you considered roof mounted crossbars and a basket over it? It makes it hight I know, but could do the trick for trips, and can took off easily when not needed

    honestly since I travel alone I can fit everything I need in the bed of the truck anyways hahaha it is more for EAF points then anything and the rare occasion I would throw a canoe up there. in the future I would like to have a kayak up there to explore some of the lakes along the way on wheeling trips. It would be nice to be able to throw a pelican case up there to keep my recovery gear in so it would free up some space in the storage bins to I can carry a few more tools

    I mostly use my crossbars for the canoe or small 12ft boat, and i'll still be able to put it up there with EST's roof rack he gaves me so thats cool. Eventually I guess I'll have some kind of system to hold gas cans and the chainsaw for trips. When you go on camping you don't want gas and small engines in the same spot as you bags of clothes, tents and food. Also for hunting, you don't want that smell on your clothes and you deer meat lol

    yeah that's very true! I wish the Rotopax were bigger. they don't look like they hold that much extra fuel. not compared to those other big green things that I cant think of the name for right now hahaha

    The scepter cans?

    Rotopax hold like 16 liters and are like 150$... at costco you can have 2x20L for 21$, jerry can style. But this style makes them high tho... i think i prefer the original ones.

    I also have a Kolpin flat gas tank i got years ago for atv trips, and could be used for the truck, but still holds only 16L, and leaks a little bit, not dripping, but still wet around the cap

    yeah the Scepter is what I was thinking of. for some reason I thought they would hold more then that. I just like how the Rotopax can lay down on the roof rack, but they are expensive lol but I would probably go that route since they are only 4L less. I wouldn't want to have scepter cans sitting up right on a roof rack hahaha but who knows, depends on when I decide to buy some, if I have a HC rear with a swing out I would go Scepter but we will see when the time comes lol

    Haha you have some crazy plans! Going "swing" out I think I'd go like Bigfella did with the fold down, and then build a rack on it to hold 2 jerry style 20L. Don't forget that the flat ones on top get full sun! Pressur build up a lot in my kolpin, and sometime it is scary lol! But I guess with all those guys on tw putting it on the top with no issue makes it legit lol

    If I go bumpers some day (i don't think it will happen) i'd go full arb, front and rear lol I really like arb stuff haha

    Hahaha these are just dreams. Not sure if I will actually do it. If money will allow it maybe. I like the Relentless front bumper right now because it lines up with the fender flares on the front. Rear bumper I do like the bumper bski has. That's if I went steel. If i wanted aluminum then I would have to go pelfrey.
