I've been wanting to try one of those for some time now. Not sure about the carry contour version though

Colt 9mm lightweight commander that received a reliability package, slide work, internal lightening, recessed and bevel slide stop and Stan Chen magwell. Customer picked it up and took it straight to gunsight for a class. Ran flawless. Still needs to be sent off to cerakote.

That is nice. I haven't been keeping up with new stuff lately, been more interested in older stuff. I keep wanting an older Delta Elite so I can get rid of my G20, but I might have to check one of these Springfields out. I love my Springfield 1911, and I like 10mm'sDSC09177.jpg DSC09185.jpg

Took the full size Springer in 9mm and the 4 inch Springer in 45acp out to play the other day. Good times.

Your choice. A guide rods a guide rod really. I personally dont like 2 piece guide rods because they can be a pita at times but they work fine.

I've used Sprinco on a couple of pistols. Nice craftsmanship. http://www.sprinco.com/recoil.html

It's nothing fancy, but my first handgun purchase when I was 21. Looking back, I wouldn't have had the stainless cerakoted..
