I am looking at installing rear bumper specifically to address issue for tire carrier, and seems there is load of various guys providing the rear bumper with tons of options, my question is,

why chose one over other or all of them same and just go for one? or there some science in choosing one over other?

just looking for some info, also anyone tow like small trailers with their custom bumpers etc,

are there others that do rear bumpers besides c4, cbi, mob etc.

Mine is being fabricated by a small fab shop here in Canada. A buddy of mine has the exact same one a few pages back. Mine will be slightly different then his, with a recessed license plate and hidden rear hitch, tyre carrier on the right side fuel on the left.

Reason we chose to have them that way, is in North America the shoulder of the road is on the passenger side, so if your pulling the tyre off on the side of a road, your not out in traffic with your back turned to it. Your at least off to the side. Fuel on the left as the fill up nozzle is there.

Really a lot of it is personal preference, go with what you feel is the right thing.

any regrets going with bumpers like these, is the rear weight large enough to notice?
