Old mechanics trick, but super reliable and easy.

 

This type is motorized so you can tilt the screen to 5 different positions. I have it set to the most angled in the picture due to the location on our trucks. The sound on the stock speakers is way better too.Thing is so sick! $300 Amazon and dont forget your wire adapters

Does anybody have the part number for the bearing for AC tensioner pulley?

Or the pulley assembly itself.

 

Started the tear down for the valve cover gasket replacement. Went pretty smoothly. Looks like it’s been done before. So many old hoses and stuff that should probably be replaced at some point. Here is before I started and where I got to:

 

I know it’s not very helpful, but that pulleys only like 30$ at autozone.

Make sure you remember where they all go lol. I fucked it up on my supercharger install lol

 

This looks like a gear drive case vs the tacoma chain drive, but it might help.

 

Pulley assembly (v6): 88440-04040 (or you can get a non-OEM at your local parts store for $30)
Replacement bearing: 6301-2NSE

I took some before photos to help with that. A a lot of it will be from memory though, which I’m glad I have a good one

 

lol man oh man. It is so easy to just put piece of tape on the hose and the end you pulled it off of and label 1...then 2...then 3.

Just connect the numbers when you put it back together.

This also ensures you never miss a small line that falls down somewhere or something as it'll have a piece of tape on it and the part you need to connect does too. Blue painters tape is a big flag as well.

Another small part of the problem is that some of the lines go somewhere slightly different. One of mine wasnt used which threw me off as well. More than a little help was needed but I got it hooked up right finally. Sidenote, it still isnt running quite right.
