I'm on a "list" for a 2018 TRD Pro, hence my question.
Being educated by TW members, I now realize high end shocks like Fox, Icon and Kings can be rebuild at about 1/3 the cost of just replacing between 30,000-50,000 miles. In an effort to be pro-active, I researched who in my local area sold Fox shocks, and contacted them to determine the procedure and turn around time for rebuild. I was provided all the info I needed except for the part when the rep told me not all Fox shock are rebuild-able.

Not knowing the specific Fox 2.5 shocks being installed on 2018 Pros kinda puts me right back at the starting block.
Can any of you Pro owners enlighten me or am I really missing something obvious?

    Thanks

    a lot
you can rebuild the TRD Fox Pro shocks. I contacted Fox direct with that inquiry. It'll cost lil over $200 to rebuild by them which is about the same for aftermarket Foxes.

I'd definitely inspect them before factory warranty runs out as dealer will just replace them for new.

How does this work? Do you take the shocks off and send them in, wait like 2 weeks, then get them back and re-install?

Trying to wrap my head around the logistics....

There are probably rebuild kits that are sent to the dealer.

Yes, that's how it works. 2 weeks subject to variability of course.
