anyone else noticing an issue with a picky transfer case? There is days it just doesn’t want to shift in or out of 4wd. Was giving someone a pull out of the ditch today and it didn’t want to go into 4wd let alone 4low while in nutral and stopped.

I feel like crawling under the truck and checking the fluid level.

Mine was super finiky at first. Switching back and forth seemed to cure it. Now it's not too bad.

If you don’t use 4wd very often, the actuator can be a little sticky at times and not want to work. Try to put into 4wd more often, it will become more easily engaged. The more it is exercised, the faster and smoother it will respond.
