Thoughts...here's what I have. 2011 trd off road.
I did the rough country level kit a year or 2 ago. Never had any problems. I like how it raised the front (2"?). I am ready now to get rid of it and go with bilstein 5100's in the front with stock coils. With the same 2" or so. I do not want to go any higher as I don't want to have to change anything else.
My problem now is that my rear leaf is broke. Getting ready to call Toyota, but guessing they will say no. I would only want the rear to match the front (level) or just slightly higher so it doesn't sag with weight from utility trailer or anything in the bed. It looks like OME or Dakar would be too much lift. What about skyjacker leaf who says 1 to 2 inches of lift. I'm also wanting to put the bilstein 5100"s on the rear. Would this work?
If Toyota would say yes and they replace with oem, would that make it sit level.
    Thanks in advance!
    Bill

Are the broken springs the recall set or the originals?

I wouldt even worry about the warranty leafs and just get a set of medium duty Dakars. The warranty leafs will just start to sag in a few months

Good point. Would those give me too much lift for what I'm looking for?

Dakars gave me about 2.5" or so. If you're going to go with an add a leaf get the warranty ones and go from there.

With the medium duty you can add or remove leafs to get a desired height. If you wanted to lower them from their factory setting than you could remove one of the overload leafs and it might be at a suitable height for you. Or if you wanted more lift further down the road than you could install the Dakar aal. Dakars are nice on that way that you can adjust to suit your needs

If you raised the front they can't say anything about it.. Plus there is a TSB or recall enhancement on them.
I'd not get a set of Dakars for the back!
