I flushed the inside of my frame out with the hose when washing it today and pieces of rust came out all over the ground. The outside of the frame and everything else under the truck looks new...literally no rust at all. Is there something i can flush my frame with to get any junk out? And possibly something to protect the inside of the frame with?

Once rust starts, it’s started. Nothing you can really do.

Black Star. Use a wand and a pump up sprayer to get everywhere. Clean everything and get it all dry first. It will take a full weekend. Then thereafter, in rust season, use Fluid Film to stave of new rust and wash the undercarriage religiously and flush inside as well as you did.

Ive been using fluid film and washing the truck literally every week all winter long, touching the fluid film up with a spray can(s) aswell. I was just shocked at some rust like that flushing out with the hose as ive never even thought of the inside of the frame before. I have been doing some research and it seems like alot of jeep guy are using a internal frame spray made by eastwood with good results. May give it a try after i get under the truck with a pressure washer and purple power in a few more months and re fluid film again

You have to get the Fluid Film inside, not just outside. But, I would flush it all out and wash with Simple Green and scrub and wash and scrub. Then Black Star, where ever there is rust or even not. Then some black chassis paint in places that are visible but the Black Star is okay by itself. Then the Fluid Film.

You can get a 360 degree nozzle on a 2 ft tube for fluid film rattle can that lets you stick in in holes in the flame and get those hard to get places.

I've used Eastwood internal frame spray in the past with good results. I'd start with a paint like that and then use either fluid film or (what I use) Amsoil HD metal protector. I use a plastic hose with 5 direction spray tip and go to town with the spray in the frame.

My Jeep is cleaner on the inside of the frame than the outside. It is 100% rust free as much as can be. It may have less rust than when I bought it new. The Taco on the other hand is a battle. Where I found some rust, not terrible but for a guy with rust OCD I freaked out, back in the spare tire area and frame rail (tops) below the bed. I fixed it and I am positive I will get another 10 plus (mostly) rust free years from my Taco but I will watch that rear area like a hawk hereafter.

Use a hammer to beat the boxed section of the frame and then flush it out. Prepare to be shocked at what you find.

A Frame flush service could become the next blinker fluid service, especially for majority who drive unibody vehicles!

Im from down south but military has me up north for now. Im so picky with my truck and cars i am constantly checking for any signs of rust or any other issue and fixing them then and there. I am going to flush the frame with salt away and then purple power and then spray fluid film in there till no tmo. Ive even considered por 15ing the whole frame and doing a full frame restore after i get out of the north and back down to the south

True, but unfortunately not having salt on the roads for the next few months doesn't totally solve the problem. Rust (oxidation) is a chemical reaction. One can speed up just about any chemical reaction by adding heat. Guess what season (and temperatures) come next? That's right, summer and increased heat. That would mean that the rust that has already started is just going to accelerate. Ugh!

Hey, take a positive approach. The faster it rots out, the quicker you get a new frame!! lol
