This ain't my first rodeo. I have sunk unimaginable sums into my previous project vehicles and I have chosen the Tacoma to be my next victim. I will never buy new because of my condition but this is the closest to new that I've had...in a while.

Day 1 - The poor bastard:
    IMG_20171217_162348583.jpg

If you live in Atlanta you know that the streets are crap and they will destroy any vehicle. I got this bad boy to combat those conditions. I ain't going wheeling or any of that noise but I did get a 4wd because I might and it snows here every 5 years or so.

The very first thing I did was swap out the stock paper speakers. For less than $250 you can change your life:

I chose not to Dynomat my entire door because that is a young man's game.

A Sub was mandatory. You can't drive around the streets of Atlanta without a Sub. At least I can't. JL Audo Stealthbox. Thank you lord for existing. I love thee.

Zero work. +5 hp. So then the sub needed some juice...

Added the ********* TDX6001. It has plenty to run that sub. Happy. Although not in the description the amp does come with a Sub Knob. Tossed it in the cubby on the left.

You don't have to take the whole dash apart to get the cubby out btw...

Ebay TRD Pro Grill because it's friggin plastic. Literally two screws hold that whole front section on.

    To take the grill off...

Atlanta Falcons license Plate +/- 5HP depending on the year

Next thing I had to do was fix the friggin hinge on my Tonneau cover. The last dude that had my truck didn't GAF and he jacked the hinge and it looked like crap. BTW this hinge was $400

About the same price as peole were selling their covers for but they lived in States many miles away. So it's fixed.

Installed a Pop & Lock for the tailgate so that now it locks with the Key Fob.

If you go the Passenger Side B Pillar route it's Green Wire to Green Wire, and Blue to Red on the DC.

green to green and blue to red.

Installed Spidertrax 1.25 Spacers. Perfectly pushed my stock shoes right out to the edge of the fender flares. I don't have any before pics because those days are over.

My pit crew doesn't say much but she's a trooper.

2004 E46 M3 in the background all pissed off. The Atlanta Sun ate that car. I have a garage now but the damage was done. One day Natrice. I promise.

    Diagnostics.

Got the Predator steps on the cheap from craigslist, added the husky mats (fit awesome as advertised), removed the lower air dam ( I have no idea why I waited, looks way better ) Gave her a bath.

2 Channel, 4 Channel AMP Install. Fix 86 DSP. Anytime rearview Camera. ECT Auto Turn on.

Lined up a whole bunch of crap for the next time I took the radio out. It's a lot to do at once but fishing wires is a pain in the ass and I'd rather only do that once.

    ECT Auto Turn on:

2 Channel, 4 Channel AMP Install. Fix 86 DSP

Decided to add a 4 Channel for the kickers and a Fix 86 DSP so hopefully I can make the adjustments I want for full sound.

Used the Add an amp harnesses from https://*********.com/ got the amp rack and 4 channel amp. I should have gotten their DSP harnesses but all I had to do was cut off the Blue Input connectors and wire them directly to the DSP

    IMG_20180310_153603848.jpg IMG_20180310_161521070.jpg

Got em all wired up. Now I need to read up on tuning with a multimeter.

    To be continued...
