    Hi everyone, new here.
Not new to cars, and grew up with my Dad owning only Toyota Pickups (pre-Tacoma), then Tacoma 2nd gen (2 of them).
Now I just sold a Cayenne Turbo and looking to get a Tacoma ASAP.
I'm not the most patient, so hope I find a good one soon.
    Been on Craigslist a lot.
Will put a WTB post in the buy section.

Looking forward to learning a lot from the forum!

Yikes - can't put a post in the buy forum because my account isn't 30 days old!

Just sold SUV and actively looking to purchase a Gen 2 Tacoma ASAP.
I'm looking for a 4WD, double cab, short bed... Really want the 4x4.

After that... I'm open to modded (nothing too extreme) and stock trucks.
Loaded with the options are a definite plus (i.e. rear view camera)
    Mileage under 150K.
    Price, ideally $15,500 or less.

White, Grey, Black, and Navy Blue.

Definitely, appreciate any suggestions or tips. Already harping Craiglist in all of SoCal and even NorCal.
So many scam postings with trucks it's comedic... any a bit annoying. Renders my alerts useless.

I haven't been active in an auto forum in a long time, you guys all seem really cool. I typically go through cars in 2-3 years and swap them out, but I plan on finding a solid Tacoma and keeping it for the next decade. Both as a family hauler, utility hauler and a bit of fun hauling. The DCSB Tacoma seems to be the right mix of all of that + the dependability and practicality.

    Hoping to find one soon...

Hey OP, just as a heads up. California has some of the highest prices in the country on these things from what I've gathered. You might be able to snag a much better deal searching a local state, or maybe you have some buddies across country you haven't visited in a while, check their CL too. Sometimes it pays to travel to find the right car.

@Bridge4 YES! Prices are really high in CA (for a lot of things!). I was definitely looking around, but I just locked one in yesterday.
    2011, DCSB, 150K miles, T|X Pro.
I was originally looking for the sport but this one was a better deal to start with the year and mileage.

Officially part of the club now!

Nice, welcome to the club! I have the same wheels on my 3rd gen, so I might be biased but I think they look pretty good:thumbsup:

    I remember all my tacomas. #3 for me 06', 11', and now a 17'.

Good luck with the hunt. Make sure to check the leaf packs for sag. Amongst all the other routine truck buying things.
