Just upgraded my tipi because its no longer just me +1 camping. These retail for $744.00 for the options I chose (not including the carbon fiber center pole). Including carbon fiber center pole totals to $856.00.

    • Dual sewn in screen doors
    • Ultralight 30 Denier BROWN
    • Carbon fiber center pole
    • No rips or tears, only used a handful of times when I go trout fishing
    • Comes with aluminum stakes
    • Never used a stove with it

    Features
    • Dual zippered doors with storm flaps
    • Single peak vent
    • Stove jack with rain flap
    • 6" Sod skirt for sealing out drafts
    • Ultra robust stake loops - big enough for cut or improvised stakes, twist a time or two to tighten up on standard stakes
    • Interior hang loops for tying clothes line or hanging gear
    • External guyout loops - use to steepen walls, or pitch the shelter down in tight spots
    Price: $690.00 + $10.00 shipping to continental 48

Hopefully @BabyTaco doesn't mind me tagging him here but he can attest to how great these tents are.

    Thanks,

    Mark

Love my tipi! Great price too. I wish I could use mine more often out here in Idaho.

such a wierd word...probably spelled nothing like we spelled it.

aha! just like I thought, from some wiki somewhere....
The word tipi comes into English from the Lakota language.[18] The Lakota word thípi [ˈtʰipi] means "a dwelling" or "they dwell", from the verb thí, meaning "to dwell".[19]

The wigwam or "wickiup", a dome-shaped shelter typically made of bark layered on a pole-structure, was also used by various tribes, especially for hunting camps.[20][21] The term wigwam has often been incorrectly used to refer to a conical skin tipi.[22][note 4]
