Heavier front diff oil

    Is it necessary to change to a heavier oil in the front diff after the ECGS bushing install. I’m changing the diff oil next weekend and wanted to see what you guys that have installed the bushing are using.

    nope. using the standard 75w90 wt front rear and tcase in my truck. Front diff has had the ecgs bushing for 60k miles without issue

    That’s what I figured. Wouldn’t think it would make much difference, but I could have swore I read somewhere that ecgs recommended Lucas 85/140

    ecgs recommends 85/140 for all their stuff. Unless you are doing really heavy towing, there really isnt a need, and the 75/90 is gonna be easier to slosh around (better mpgs, less rolling resistance)
