I'm pretty sure I might have a bent spindle, but could it possibly just be knocked out of alignment. The tire is touching the UCA. But looking at the spindle it doesn't look bent. When they bend is there obvious damage you can see, or is it more like a warp type damage that isn't really visible.o_O

I bent a spindle and the bend was completely unnoticable, even side by side with a good one but changing it out took my truck from unalignable to back in specs.

First stop should be an alignment shop to see if they can get you back in specs before you start throwing parts at your truck.

lots of factors play here. Are you lifted? did you go off any sweet jumps lately? offset/BS of wheels? tire size? have you had an alignment recently?

OP do you have adjustable UCA's (like SPC uca's)

If the tire is touching the UCA and you DO NOT have adjustable UCA's (even if its aftermarket) something is bent, either upper ball joint (unlikely) or the spindle itself.

They sell spindle gussets for a reason.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure it bent, but I'll have my alignment shop check it out.

Jeeez man you sound like my ex GF,:ballchain: "...you know they sell condoms for a reason, blah blah blah!":angrygirl::lalala:
Thanks for the reply though. I do have gusseted spindles on my list, just didn't want to run the ones I've been bashing the Hell out of. I guess now is the right time to call Glorified Welder.

Just please don't send Jason bent spindle cores. It he doesn't catch it, someone will get bent and gusseted spindles. That would really suck. Hopefully he has some sort of jig to verify his cores before this happens, but I don't know. I would cut the bent one up.
