I've had my ST maxxs for 2 years/15k miles...super smooth, no issues. I recently had their routine 5K balance rotation. They would start to vibrate around 20-30mph..and it got worse with speed. It also pulled to the left. I took it back to discount...and what they told me:
on after market wheels ( I Have some level 8 trackers)...the sticky weights need to be placed in middle/center of the wheel, not on the edges. They corrected this and they are back to riding perfect. No vibration, no pull.

Are the 255/80r17 stt Maxx 51 or 58lbs?

Makes a difference as I'm debating on jumping up from my 48lb falkens.

I can't imagine they're 58 lbs. I tested falken wild peak at3's for a few months before getting the coopers, ran both in 285/75R17 and didn't notice a major difference in weight, so I'm assuming for the size you're running, it's more like a 3 lb difference than a 10 lb difference, but that's just an assumption
