    So I went to Absolution Brewery in Torrence, CA today. I have to admit that I wasn’t all that impressed with any of their beers. Does anyone else have an opinion?

    We ended up going to simzzys for lunch. Walked around the pier and then went in to Jacks and HSS. Then had a pour at riip, then a pour a beachwood in seal beach and was going to go to Beach Wood in Long Beach cuz I wanted mocha machine and a bbq pulled pork sammich but stopped in at Congo to see if my friend was working and sure enough he was. So ended up staying at Congo for free beers and had food there. Just got home.

    I spent the past week on a cruise ship and some islands. The ship didn't have much of a beer selection, but I tried what they had. Both of these were decent, but not great. I had some cheap island beers as well. I'll have to find my pictures of those.
