Question for you Baja guys. I just purchased a Baja kit for a great deal I couldn't pass up. After I got it I found out that they will corrode after some time. What are you guys doing to prevent this? I wanted to do what I can before I put it all together. I was thinking of maybe painting them with a clear coat. I have searched and didn't find much more than stuff like fluid film. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the response. I was originally going to to the 6112/5160 combo but came across the Baja kit super cheap so went with that for now. If you are still looking for rears 4 Wheel parts has the 5160's for about $151 a piece with code BUYNOW. I was getting ready to order them then I found my deal. Hope that helps you.

Looks like mavcoat could be worth checking out. I need to clean up my kings and give it a shot once the weather gets a little warmer.

Thanks I might just give that a try. 4 Wheel parts carries it and they are local to me.

So give me ideas of how much my truck should be worth if I were to sell it. Asking for a friend.

I havnt really checked out your build but I’m guessing if you want to test the waters I would go around 28-30k? I assume you are considering going cruiser? I’m glad I went the west coast route as I love how my second gen handles.

I hear ya...I got almost 20k in suspension alone, but I would be surprised if I could get more than 34k for mine.

Talking with my wife about getting a new vehicle for her, so I have my choice of the truck or the 4runner.

I have probably 10-12k in mods, 47k miles. I was thinking I'd ask around $35k and see what shakes out. I feel like that's a pretty fair price, but wanted some input if I was way off one way or the other.

If I had to guess it would be easier to get a color made to match. Are you looking to paint yours up?

Is that really listed for 39k!?

    WTF?

That is what I paid new for my 2015 6spd pro.

But it would be cool to have a matching set. Lol

Hang on you’re getting 11.5 mpg avg?? Man, that makes me feel better about mine. Yours is a black Pro too if I remember right ... right?

Mine is Inferno 6spd and supercharged, and I tow a lot.

I get 12.5 or so daily, 14 ish highway unloaded. I do not exactly strive for MPG, and my foot is near gold in density.
