    Hey fellas,
So I am starting to plan my suspension upgrade and I have read a fair amount of information, some of it conflicting. I'm coming from a F-150 with an ICON set up, probably comparable to stage 6 or so for the Taco. Icon UCA's squeak like a mad bastard, at least the pre-dela joint do. My OEM toyota leafs squeak like crazy with 2k miles on them, and I have read that the OME dakars squeak real bad too.

I don't want to sound like a mouse when I drive, so who doesn't squeak? I want to go with a full king and deaver set up, and I haven't read anything about the deavers being squeaky. My Baja kit UCA's I got from JT @bajakits didn't seem to ever squeak, but I only had them on for about 10k miles after ditching the squeaking Icons (which wouldn't sell me replacement bushings either).

So what do you all recommend for UCA's and Leaf packs that don't squeak.

I have a very mild setup and stock UCA’s. 3 Leaf AAL out back on my stock springs. I have no squeaking at all. I made sure to keep all shims in place during installation. I also applied a hearty amount of automotive grease between each leaf. I’m not sure if you are comfortable taking your new leaf pack apart or even if you can, but a bunch of grease might help.

My light racing ucas never squeaked, but they are a ball joint design. You might be looking for a uniball design instead.

For squeaky dakars, there is a whole thread on that including some possible fixes.

Thanks, I can probably take apart some leafs, and from what I have seen, proper greasing on this stuff before installation can go a long way. What type of aal do you have?
