If I weren’t going Long Travel I’d definitely go with delta joints. Heard great things about them!’

Are you going to be making delta joints for other arms, like say Camburg’s?

Yes, our Delta Joints will work with any UCA that uses WSSX16 bearing for Toyota Trucks and SUV's (05+Tacoma, FJ's, 4Runners)

We'll have part numbers and prices once we finalize development.

Has anyone had any shifting/popping while these things break in? I've had the delta joint tubular arms for about 500 miles. Whenever the weight goes against the front wheels (Like shifting from D to R) 5 out of 10 times I can hear a loud pop. I feel like it's coming from the long bolt at the frame. Is it possible that I ran out of thread at the long bolt before the washers/sleeves were properly squeezed?

It certainly doesn't happen every time but if I moderately bump the left front wheel up a curb (or similar height) going under 5 mph it pops..

Popping sound is fixed! Thanks abqnurse80! I found a loose LCA bolt at the rear bushing on the driver's side.

Now that everything is snug:rolleyes: these UCAs feel great!

In my spring search, looking at going with 14 inch 650lb springs for the time, bumper and winch could be years... Anyone with the fox 2.5 and 650 coils??

Update, based on advice from @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc , going to try to remove a leaf from the pack in attempt to lower the front as well!! Will update!!

Well today was the day!!! Glad I got them installed!! Upon further inspection, the spacers on the worn joint were worse than I thought. I dont think the 12pt bolt was ever torqued right, bout this used, and as far as I could tell, the tapered bolt assembly had been thrashing around in there quite a while. The other one that I thought was ok, was full of rust. Both uniballs actually looked ok, and articulated well. Now with the delta joints, tracking at freeway speed feels smoother, steering is effortless, had been binding before, and now I know my ucas wont come apart on me!! Glad I got this done before it was too late!!! Take a look at the pics!! Thanks again @Icon_Adrian!!! Would strongly suggest anyone with the uniballs on their icon UCAs, get the delta joint, you wont regret

How about updating the thread title (adding "resolved")?

I want to go Delta Joint when I'm due. I know it'd be a night and day comparison since your old uniball was so beat up, but how's the ride with the new joint?

Good info here. Getting ready to change out my uniballs and install the delta joints on mine. Any tips on this process? Did you install the delta joints with the UCA's on the truck?
