I had my truck for less than a month when I ran over a nail. Similar situation as you, only using my truck to commute to and from work. Called the dealership asking if they could do the patch for free. Got the 'not covered under my warranty' etc spiel. Showed up to the dealership the next day with a calm and level head and explained that I hadn't even made my first payment. Service manager took care of it without issue. Granted I had to go back twice since the first day they butchered the patch and then broke one of their tools. Took four hours longer than it should've, but it was free.

YMMV, but I'd visit your service center and calmly explain your situation. If you sell it well enough, with a calm and level head, you may end up with a free repair.

    Work in progress...
I bought a car from the local dealership, some years back, and the batteries kept exploding. First two times the dealership paid for towing and repairs, but the third time it happened the dealership said my warranty on the battery was expired. It had only been a couple of months that this current battery was in the car. I checked the wiring after the second battery was replaced and noticed it it was damaged here and there. I actually had pointed it out to the service writher a day after picking up the car, the second time. Anyhow, they said the warranty way up and I was out of luck. So I pulled up to the curb, on the public street and opened up the hood. I sat in a lawn chair with my cooler full of sodas and radio. About 30 minutes later my car was in the dealerships garage getting new battery and wiring under the outstanding warranty.....Dodge Neon, that is why I didn't want to say...

Stock (for now) with some mild conveniences thanks to Amazon.
I went 4-Wheeling over small rocks, big rocks and everything in between on my stock off-road last week. No issues with oem tires at all. Now transfer case actuator that’s a different story. But like others have suggested I let them repair it moved on. Only had 2000k on it and I didn’t give it back to them. Now if I get back out next week and give it a test run and have the issue again then me and Weezy are going to be talking.
