Hey guys. My part searching skills suck ass! Im wanting to do a rear diff, front diff and transfer case drain and refill. 2011 TRD OR 4x4 Im worried about the bolts being fucked up when I remove them and maybe needing new ones.
Is the front and rear diff the same fill and drain bolts? Part numbersi f you know them ?
Is it smart to have replacement fill and drain bolts for transfer case on hand? Part numbers?
I was going to ask gunny1005 but he has been MIA on his thread :(
Thanks for looking and if someone has the numbers , tyvm!!

On my 07 the rear and transfer case have the same plugs. The front is different. (Allen heads) I'm sure yours are the same. 90341-24014 for the front 90341-18006 for the rear and transfer case. 90430-A0003 for the washers if you choose to change them. The synth Mobil oil is very good. Not sure if it's hypoid or that you require hypoid for lsd.

I'm sorry I believe the drains have a magnet and the fillers don't. I'll try to get #s.for fillers.

Always remove the fill plug first.

If you drain the fluid, then find you can't remove the fill plug for some reason, you are now immobile.

If you do the fill plug first, and can't get it out, at least you can drive it somewhere for help.

The part numbers I gave you are from receipts from the local Toyota dealership for a couple plugs I replaced. One front one rear and washers. I just changed my transfer and trans(manual)fluid last weekend and noted the plugs are the same size as the rear. Not having any luck finding specific oem drain vs fill numbers on line.

I'll be changing my fluids soon, Amazon no longer lists Mobil 1 104361 for sale around $10/qt. I can only seem to find it locally for $12.99/qt. Any suggestions?

At least or me. They fluid pump I bought , has a bit of a shorter hose to the bottom of the bottle . Does not go all they way. So I grabbed a plastic cup, dumped from oil bottle and finished pumping that way.

The drain on the rear end, transfer & front diffs have magnets in them.

I ended up doing the front, rear diffs and the tc, this last week. I didn't mess up any bolts, only the front diff drain and fill were tougher to unscrew I added a little anti seize but I did replace all the gaskets/washers with new ones. Maybe about an hour with my son and me doing it.

How many quarts did you end up using? How many miles on the fluid that came out?
