To ask an actual wheeling question, now that my 2wd is for sale, when I get into a 4x4 where should I go first?

Suspension will be a yes, sliders yes, wheels and tires maybe, skids unlikely (at first, fuckers are expensive)

We should go to Ocotillo. @eccracer104 will the new truck have sliders, tires, suspension from the old one. Seems like it would be ready to go anywhere if so.

I was thinking Big Bear, didn't have Anza in mind, but that's close too, not a bad idea!

Dude I've been going everywhere with 2wd and a locker I want to HAVE to use the front diff I'm spending all this time and money to get hahaha

You and @Mike likes Tacos just want to see trucks break

Leaving the wheels and tires on this one, but I'm hoping to keep enough money from the sale to buy wheels and tires out the gate. We shall see!
I did keep my suspension, and will most likely keep the sliders.

little bit of everything in Ocotillo. More sand than obstacles though. Big Bear, Last Chance Canyon,Rowher Flats, Calico are great places to get started. To the east of San Diego there are a couple cool 4x4 trails too. Haven't made it there yet. Think one was called sidewinder. @desertjunkie760 didnt you check those out?

@eccracer104 White Mountain in Big Bear would be a good place to test out a new 4x4

Sidewinder is one of many trails in Corral Canyon. It is fun and challenging from what I hear. Definitely on the list. Not supposed to be as difficult as bronco peak, but still opportunity for body damage etc.
