    Okay ,
Is it just me and or the way I drive , ( i know you guys / gals don't know how I drive)
The problem is when driving on the freeway or other roads,
I.E When right lanes marge to the left other cars / trucks want to challenge
Is it because we drive smaller truck's ,
Fyi when on the freeways I drive between 70 . 80 mph
but always keeping up with the flow of traffic
I feel like there is little or no respect given to Tacoma's .

Coming from driving a Jetta for six years (have had the truck for a little less than 6 months), things are much better in a Tacoma. I also live in Ohio, which is well known for shitty drivers

When merging, it might be necessary to yield. Defensive driving I feel is better than offensive driving.

No, it's not our trucks it's just other people are asshats. Also you should yield to the tractor trailers because they deal with enough assholes on the road

Let me guess, you're using your turn signal before merging? I live in socal but have noticed that norcal drivers are just as bad, whenever I put my signal on I see the front of the car lift up like they just punched the gas, doesn't matter what you're driving.

It's not the "yield" problem it's the problem of being pushed or cut off when they do merge

It’s not Tacoma’s, it’s all vehicles. So many people drive worse and worse, and seem to intentionally drive in such a way as to make others mad. Just sit back, drive normally and don’t bite when others drive like morons. Don’t fall into the road rage trap, it’s not worth dying over.

If you drove that in California I can guarantee that you'd still get cut off.

The worst is when you're zipper merging on a freeway onramp and some asshat swerves to the right just so you can't merge in front of them. Happens a lot during traffic as well.

This has been my dream to drive in the LA area. Get cutoff, no problem - push the dude out of the way. Some guy tailgating you... not for long. Someone trying to be dodgy, they'll get annihilated on your truck!

annnnnnnnd this is why i came back to Alabama.. i spent 3 years in Tacoma, Washington weather sucked 90% of the time but so did the drivers, spent 6 months in Sacramento and couldn't deal with the amount of interstates, highways, and freeways you guys have plus my blood would boil before i ever got anywhere fun...now i'll give it to ya'll, ya'll got some of the most beautiful women i've ever met and awesome weather but past that i'll stick to my women having more than half their teeth and smoke like a chimney on christmas living in a double wide ( literally a joke) with a 2 lane road for as long as i want to drive it and only hit small towns and never need a GPS..maybe i'm just born to live in the south who knows

Lol, near Chicago, it’s the same thing. Up there, a turn signal is considered a sign of weakness.

People are just bad drivers. Try driving a fire truck or ambulance. The lights turn on and people get stupid. Just merge right, a-holes. Take out your stupid ear-buds and just merge right.

People are bad drivers, so let's make cars more bad-driver friendly...

Asshats around here on a 2 lane road will drive 20 under the speed limit for miles, finally get to a passing zone and try to pass them and they turn into John Force with the throttle pinned to the floor trying to prevent you from passing...
