SDHQ Steering Wheel

Does any of members from our forum have one of the new SDHQ Steering wheels with red stiching and red center strip?
Any other brands or shops that make a custom ones?
I got a quote from one shop for about $1200 which is almost double what SDHQ charge for their.

No thanks. The one that I already paid $35k for looks great to me, and even seems to do a pretty good job steering the truck.

 

I am picking up mine today but since I have gray stitching on my leather seats, I went with gray stitching on the wheel.

 

No wonder it costs so much you are buying the entire wheel. Lookup Redlinegoods. They have steering wheel covers for somewhere around $130 and charge some extra if you want to send it in to have them do it.

I don't see why a 2012+ Taco steering wheel leather cover wouldn't work for the 3rd gen...its the same steering wheel across models afaik.

I'd call them and see if they'd do it. Price is a much cheaper and they can customize it all the same.

yep. Well, they handle the upholstery and modifications but it is a factory wheel as a base.

 

back in my last forum life (vw) we had a lot of guys send out their wheels for a Alcantara treatment. red stitching no extra charge, one week turnaround, $300.

can't remember where but if it was available then I'm sure it can be found now.

 

Looks sweet but can't imagine buying a new whee for a non-performance vehicle. Almost did it for my 3 series but already had an M sport whee.

Subtle touch but I love it. The added thickness of the new wheel paired with the finger grooves on the back side and the amazing quality leather make such a huge difference.

 

While they had that apart would have been the perfect time to rip that chrome T badge off. Looks super nice!
