Normally I would repeat myself and say "Go read Iggy's thread... all 70+ pages worth and it's ALL in there" but I have found that nobody ever actually does this.

So, for summary: v1 camper is what Overlanerd and Iggy have a ton of photos posted up of the last year. 1" Aluminum square tube framing that was welded into a structure and then skinned with aluminum sheets. Hand sewn vinyl walls for the tent part. v1 = prototype.

v2: Thick aluminum sheets cut to shape, then formed in a large hydraulic press to give it strength and rigidity without having to be welded (high cost of labor and time). Then the pieces (sides, top, etc) are attached together in an unannounced way (Hopefully something that is vibration proof like rivets). Most of the cost in this is probably the sheet metal cutting, forming, tent material cutting/sewing and then assembly. Next high cost will be transport of the complete assembly, which is good for all of us locals that would drive to pick it up. (Too bad I'm moving 1,300 miles away in 2 weeks).

Yes, they said they were. The 2nd gens beds are a little wider up front and a little narrower in the rear (they taper for some reason). I know this because I extensively measured the 2nd gen Baja TX I acquired my Flippac from. The Flippac is a non-issue because it is so boxy and the bottom lip is 6" wide allowing the variance to work fine between 1st and 2nd gens. A minor change to the bottom half of the Vagabond would allow for the minor difference in the 1st gen beds and make the product look very finished and refined on them. If it is not adjusted from the 2nd gen design to the 1st gen, it will probably still work, but not look very good.

Yeah, the ER doctor told me this kind of injury is pretty common on motorcycles and bicycles. The urgent care suspected I'd ruptured a testical according to the ultrasound. He said that was doubtful as he'd seen two such cases in his career. Both patients had passed out from the pain, gone into shock and lost control of their bowls. I could walk and talk.

Yup, lucky indeed. Now I just need to keep a close eye on the one. And it's slightly larger than the other two.
