Is it easily possible to make the tailgate lock and if so, where do I find it?

I saw ones with cameras, just wondering if they were aftermarket or not? Will I still be able to use factory camera?

The entire handle assembly gets replaced. Super easy install. Took me about 10 minutes. The lock on the new assembly will code to your key. You can also buy them painted to match.

There are several versions of Pop-n-Lock available - Manual & Powered, Standard & Codeable Locks, Plain Black & OEM Colors. Check them out at http://www.popandlock.net/.

Manual installs are very easy. Powered installs are slightly more complicated, due to the need run wires and tap into existing power lock wiring.

I just started looking at this, and my first question is “Why, when the tailgate lock is a standard electric lock solenoid (I can hear it operate when I turn the key), is there not a wiring harness option to work it in sync with the cab doors? I really don’t want to have to add, then configure, an aftermarket thingy to make it work like a SUV instead of a commercial cargo vehicle? I’m trying to get wiring diagrams and schematics to re-engineer this omission...
