Created a bowl size dent using a floor jack. I should have used a wooden block to distribute the weight. Does this create any structural issues, it appears to be connected to the frame and suspension? Possible to bend back? Am I overthinking it, it's a truck and bottom carriage is made to get dinged and bent from off-roading?

I'd leave it be. Thanks for the heads up.

What I circled in blue is literally its job, that is the jack point.

With that being said, what you dented wont effect anything.

There’s a round circle dead ahead of that dent you put. That’s the jack point

Actually, I take that back. It's ugly and you should buy a front and transmission skid from us to cover it.

I think it will likely be fine....wouldn’t worry about it. The “nipple” that protrudes just forward of that area is the lift point specified in the service manual....so, if you are using a floor jack, that is a safe jacking point to use. No need for a block if lifting at that point.

If your not sure where to put a jack, check with the manual or the dealer.... under the frame or lower control arms/ rear axle are always good places...

He could, yes. If you have alum skid from us, use wood block so teeth on jack dont dent the material.

Yup. That is where you want to lift from underneath with a floor jack. That is literally its only purpose.

Just tell everyone that it is trail Carnage and you are lucky to be alive!

Otherwise, you got nothing to worry about. Won't hurt a thing.
