The star lock fasteners are not include. You can pick them up at a hardware store or buy them from Toyota.

    ***WARNING***

Hey for anyone who used Paypal to purchase this grill from Chinese sellers (I used MotorsFanClub), we just got about $940 drained from our account that is linked to my Paypal, mostly though what looks to be Paypal transactions for a "Light in the box" website which has a HQ in Beijing. Maybe this is a coincidence. Maybe not, but check on things. We never use our debit card for anything and rarely write checks.

I paid with a credit card though so I don't know how they could have gotten ahold of any account info. These did not originate from my Paypal account and we never had any of the verification deposits to our account which you need in order to link one in Paypal so I'm lost as to how they did this but keep an eye out!

I have been following this thread for a long time now. So I broke down and ordered a TRD PRO grill from China.
I guess I couldn't resist the deal. It took about 2 weeks to come in and I installed it last night. I got a grill with the loose letters. It arrived very well wrapped and boxed but 2 clips were still broken in transit. I went to Lowes and bought Loctite Epoxy Plastic Bonder for $6. I glued the broken clips (held perfectly) and I also used it to glue the tabs on the back of each letter that stick out the back of the grill. This way the letter can never come off. Yes I did use the double sided tape that comes with the letters but I don't trust they will hold the letter on forever. I can tell you this that the TRD PRO grill looks a million times better on my inferno color Tacoma than my stock grill that I plasti dipped before. Getting rid of the Chrome is the key. Best $135 mod for the looks of the truck. If anybody else is on the fence to buy this grill I'm telling you to do it. You will love the change.

I ordered mine from Yan-Lim on eBay as well, got shipping info 5 days ago. Today tracking says it was returned to China post by customs security in Guong Dong. So the trial begins :(

My original shipping was randomly cancelled so I messaged him. He stated he had some issue with the original shipping company so he sent a different one out already and updated me with a new tracking number.

Message him, he was very communicative with me and I had no issues

That sounds normal doesn't it? Customs is done with it and returned it to China post so they can continue delivering it.

I got mine from Yan-Limn as well, took about 3 weeks total to arrive and it looks great. Order some other stuff in the meantime and be patient! :)

@AeroCooper that is exactly what the guy said. I was misreading the tracking.

    Got an update,

If anyone gets the grill with the individual letters then definitely use epoxy. The double sided tape is really weak, just pulled mine off with a little effort. Getting epoxy to glue the letters on.

Isn't there a thread somewhere that shows how to remove and install a grill for a 3rd gen? I know I've seen it but I can't find it

To remove the grill it’s two 10mm hex and two clips and pull from the bottom, he’s removing the grill from its painted bezel also. The comments are misleading because it depends on what you’re doing, removing the “whole” grill to access something or removing the grill from the bezel, however it was common sense once I did it that you don’t remove ALL the screws he was saying, you just have to examine it...but it does show those intimidated that it’s really not that bad but I agree with what you’re saying. After I pulled the whole thing, I sorta figured it out and didn’t really rely on the rest of the video as it wasn’t rocket science but then again I’m only speaking for myself...

Just installed my eBay TRD Pro Grill.

No pics because is nothing you haven’t seen before.

Looks great and the Grill is of high quality.

I just don’t understand why these come in two pieces. I had to epoxy the letters.

    Over all A+

    Got it from Baysonr
