Who else is running 34s or above? I want to keep the same size. Currently running 285 75 17 Toyo open country Mud graps.

What brand tires and size are y'all running?

I run 35s with a 4 in lift, PO had to cut the bumper to clear them on tight turns

Most 35s measure 34" so might as well go for it

Ya I really wish I'd have just done 35s first but I'm still on stock gearing and really like my current wheels so I stuck with the 285/75/17s. Planning to get arbs and 4.30s in the fall then decide what to do from there. This pic is with 2.25 cut out of the fenders and a gnarly cab mount chop.

Honestly I'm still on stock gearing and I feel it does just fine. Now my 08 Wrangler unlimited on 35s needs gears! Lol I can't even touch my 6 gear

I still haven't did my cmc on my truck and my tires yell on my cab mount every time I do a semi sharp turn

Is your truck manual? Even with the supercharger I'm constantly looking for more. Coming from a 13' 2wd sierra that dyno'd 395 this truck is embarrassing lol. Plus every time we went wheeling with the 255/80s I had to slip the clutch like a sob to do any crawling. I'm finding that for the kind of technical wheeling I enjoy I'm going to need gears before I go bigger. I've got right at 3 degrees of castor and I just barely clear full stuff now. Because of my wheels I do slightly rub the frame a full lock and stuff but its a smooth spot and its only when I'm completely jammed up in there.

True, almost all tires are an inch shorter than they claim, just like TVs and a few other things I can think of . It's all part of the new age of swindle. It's not 35" anymore. It is "35 inch class", which means 34". Some settling may occur.

No it's an auto it still.has Getty up when I wheel it. It's not that bad either. I don't rock crawl just trail ride cause it's my DD so I don't want to mess up a truck that's supposed to last till 500k miles

I thought about regearing just to add air lockers but still haven't found a place where i would need em

There's plenty of times I thought I should trade it in for a full size truck or diesel but I always come back saying "this truck will last longer than all the other brands" then here I am again with my tacoma lol
