Update Apr2021: Will purchase again, sold them to upgrade to a more aggressive setup. They wore evenly.

Just ordered a pair of kanati Trail hogs 35x12.5x17 (going on jeep) just letting you know first impressions on them for people thinking of getting them in the future.

They are made in Indonesia by greenball. These things are a replica of a duratrac but a few hundred dollars cheaper. Found a few reviews online that were good and took a chance on them. From the info I read they have a thicker sidewall than duratrac. And I assume they will last just as long. I will mount them today and see how it goes. But other than that. It looks like a really good tire.

They mounted just as easy as any other 35" tire. The psi is set at 33 and only hitting 80% or so of the tire but the ride is alot better than my nitto trail grapps that were previously on there

Not a bad looking tire!? What'd you give for them, if you don't mind me asking.

$775 free shipping with the $100 off from eBay cyber sale last week for the 35x12.5x17

Is $675 for 285/70/17 which I plan on getting for the taco if these tires do well

Nice! They look similar to my Wildpeaks, which I am very happy with so far. I'll keep an eye out for your updates, maybe I'll try these when mine wear out. Hope they work well for you!

I think those are priced the very same! I hope they work as well. There was a guy that did a detailed article on them and he seemed to love em so I'm hoping for the same results lol but he had 37s

I'm sold! Lol And that siping is a must, I agree! I cringe when I see Jeep's and Taco's with M/T's on them, I bet they're horrible in the snow/wet pavement. Good review and info, thx for sharing! I'm sure they will do you good.

Yeah I have Toyo mts on my taco now and they suck on ice and okay in the rain and snow.
But before the Toyos I have the nitto Terra grapps and they were the worst tire I have owned.

In the past I had duratracs and they are all around best tire I had mostly the reason why I bought the knock off brand haha

For sure. It's from the solid rubber blocks on M/T's, they can't flex and bite like tires with siping. After really looking at the Katani vs the Duratrac's, they look identical!! Lol I don't blame you one bit for taking the chance to save some cash, I'd do the exact same!? Stinks being a tightwad, but not when it pays off! Lol

So far tires are wearing well. Super soft ride and minimal road noise. the psi is set at 33 and it's not making full contact with the tred so I will downing it to 29 and see
