I don’t want to keep this off-topic from the original thread, but believe it or not, my ARE Z Series has a frameless rear window and no easy place to attach anything. There’s a big piece of slippery plastic (polyethylene?) trim clipped over the lower inside of the window. It’s not really sturdy enough to attach a handle which will withstand the force needed to pull the window down the first few inches against the force of the gas springs. Anyway, it sounds like GFC will have something for this purpose. I attached a short nylon strap to my tailgate so it’s easy to pull up to close from the inside.

Dang, love those windows. Seems like most folks don't want windows for security of internal contents, but I prefer the visibility they provide and can always rig up some sort of curtain to cover things when needed.

Please don't flame me for not looking through the whole thread, but I don't have that kind of free time.
Is there pictures of one of these on a first gen yet?

Wonder if I'm the first 1st gen on the list.

Hoping to get mine next month, and have a 10 day trip planned for the start of May. I'll provide pictures.

    It's DLX son!
The DOM frame for the lower portion will have to be changed to fit a first gen, but nothing drastic. Would also make sense if they drop the overall height by an inch or so as well to account for the shorter/lower 1st gen bedsides.

Very exciting to hear about folks getting theirs soon!

I'm extremely interested in more details concerning the XL version. Some CAD drawings would be appreciated.

#41 and the email invoice I got said May, so hopefully you’re not into June unless the time lines changed and I missed it.

Not bad! The email I got said upon full payment you will be securing your spot in line regardless of your reservation number. But I was also #112, so we'll have to see. I figure if they start getting 2-4 campers out a day (seems feasible with the new shop, etc) then they should be able to get all the pre-orders out by end of May. Mine might be a tad different though since I'm one of of the few ZR2's that ordered , but that's only in the frame and 3rd brake light. No word about production as of now through emails. Thanks for the information!

15 a week was the original production goal stated by Wiley and Graeme. Of course that’s before they went and bought more cool robots.. i would say that’s a very attainable goal. Of course my impression of these guys is they’re going to be doing it right. Obviously they have a lot riding on these campers as social media is part of why they exploded so fast. Obviously if there are problems they’ll come to light pretty quickly. I’m happy to wait a reasonable amount of time for the product these welding wizards are going to be turning out. And as i stated before. I can’t wait to see the first two that roll out as fleet rental vehicles.... that of course will really give it a test. I’d imagine we’re all going to be seeing a lot of stuff in the next few weeks!!!
