Like shit, lol. There's a reason most every vehicle moved to IFS in the 80s and 90s. Solid axles are notoriously rough on streets (and offroad for that matter) compared to IFS. But that's the trade off for a much stronger 4x4 system and better articulation offroad.

    well......it's a truck......on 37s......with an SAS.....

with that said I would drive one in a heart beat. My fj40 is a SUA and it rides a lot rougher than my lifted tacoma. But I use it like it's ment to be used. Can it be driven as a DD? Sure. But the tacoma is nicer to drive with its ifs. Do you plan on some hard core crawling? or just want a cool truck?

haha it might be a bit more than you bargained for, but it'll be cool alright. SAS on 37s it's going to get some abysmal gas mileage, so be prepared for that too. Hopefully it was geared properly

    everything
I had an sas 4Runner and now an sas Tacoma

You kinda left out a lot of variables. The ride is going to be highly depend on how well the truck was set up. Obviously links and coils in the front are going to be smoother with more precise steering. Link geometry is going to play a huge part in handling. Sway bars and shock tuning will def. help.

With properly tuned shocks and good link geometry a solid axle Tacoma can ride pretty damn plush. That being said, I’ve seen a lot of hack jobs out there so beware.

In my 4Runner the bumps in the freeway are like jumps. Speed bumps suck, unless you approach at an angle. I didn't notice how bad it was until you get back in my Tacoma. Night and Day on ride comfort.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I can't speak for a Taco, but my '80 4x4 Pickup rides about the same as the Taco does, and it came standard with a solid diff up front. I'm sure with the right suspension setup, you could get a decent ride quality out of anything.

02 Tacoma, fixed with curse words.
All depends how it's setup. Mine gets mileage in high teens if I keep it below 75, so the gas mileage aint too bad. Again depends how it's setup. Don't buy an sas truck if all you want is something that looks cool.

SA Tacoma ride quality is not that bad compared to ifs. Ifs is more comfortable, that is given, tho I'd been in some ifs that ride like sh1t too. All comes down to type of spring and how it's setup.
