    Yeah. It's nice.

    Search for HYQ12BDP
That should be the FCC ID on the back of your key.

Had an interesting drive home in stop and go traffic. Learned with 1.03c you can’t drive 5mph in first. Just touch the throttle and I surged forward. Let off and I get major compression braking. I couldn’t just touch the throttle and maintain 5mph. Idle was able to keep it at about 2-3 mph.

Made for a fun drive home.

I experimented today (I'm stock tune)...I can do 600 rpm in 1st and 2nd with no bucking or jerking. Never a problem in that arena. Its soggy getting out of that range, but does it slow and smooth. It takes some ginger input on the skinny pedal but I have a hyper vigilant right foot.

20180316_191030[1].jpg Ok,having a problem getting Techstream to load. I followed the instructions up to the point of replacing the main menu file. I click the shortcut on the desktop and it asks for area selection then language and then asks for Dealer info and code. Any help?

Just put gibberish in those fields...only one that important is when you get challenged to put in the key code. It's in the third file of the zip. Just cut/paste that code in and Roberts your fathers brother

    Mostly stuff I built.
I may have gotten some bad fuel.

I am getting some clattering under heavy acceleration from 2500-3500 rpm the last two days. I am getting this clatter or pinging after holding steady rpm in 4th at 60 mph coming out of one of the towns I go through on my commute then accelerate hard to 70 mph up an incline approx 150-200’/.25miles. I am pretty sure it is the fuel I got Thursday on the way to work but wanted to see if any one else has this issue.

Same problem here. Severe bucking trying to hold 1K RPM in 1st gear. Definitely difficult to hold 1st at that RPM, 2nd gear no issue there. Looking at the TS log, my Intake VVT Target Angle Bank 1 fluctuates from 30° to nearly 5°. Not sure if this is the cause of the surging.

I got Techstream up and running and was able to turn off my seatbelt buzzer. Can someone do a quick rundown on how to setup Techstream to do the actual data logging.

ETA I printed out the list of data Matt posted a couple pages back. I just need pointed in the right direction to get Techstream setup.

Click on obd 2 button and when that loads click on data.

You can then add custom data pids to a new or use the existing which captures all.

Make sure the cable is plugged in and you have the ignition to on or engine running before clicking on the obd button.

You can. The record button is on the bottom right. You can stop it at any time.

Once stopped you can fill out some details and then save the file.

I like the flip key for my VW Sportwagen, but I don't like extra buttons that don't do anything. I wasn't able to find the 3 button version anywhere except Ebay for 2x the price. Have you found one that doesn't have the trunk button?
