Haha you people are CATEGORICALLY missing my point. First off I do have heated power mirrors, but I couldn't give a shit about any of the stuff on that list. Compare yourselves to an OR. They got options that actually mean something. you ended up with a hood scoop and a unsuited suspension for comfort or off-roading.

Its pretty basic. I've only got the heated mirrors, appearance package, and tow package.

And I'm out. Have fun fellas. OP, but drive each a couple weekends back to back and you'll get a feel for which one you like more . Can't go wrong either as long as you're happy with what you bought

And it's an off road. Kidding.

Hahaha a lesson I learned today. I don't know why they think I'm insecure about it. I was just pointing out what they paid for.

Come ride with me, and see how unsuited the suspension is.

Oh and I remind you that lots of off road suspensions are quickly taken off and replaced for after market, so I guess that one is suited for the for sale threads.

I'm sure if you've modded it for offroad use its fine. In fact, if you're no longer running stock its probably much better than my stock Hitachis, but my point is why did you people choose it over the OR? Whats the reason?

Honestly, if I had joined TW before I ordered mine, I would have allowed the peer pressure to force me to buy the OR. :crapstorm:

Honestly, I have learned that the off road is a better value for the money, but it also brings more electronic possible failures.

But I bought my sport, cause when I went to the dealership to look for a new truck, I couldn't stop checking out the sport. Off roads just didn't get my attention. I have never driven a 3rd gen off road, but the sport handles freaking awesome when I roll through corners at good speed.

You are categorically missing the point and don't really have an argument until an ACLB MT OR is available in the US.

So much hate in this thread. I have a sport 4x4 and there isn't anything I haven't been able to do just as well as an OR. With that being said, yes the OR is more capable Off-road due to the locker. Everyone needs to back off the hate a little bit and respect the fact that people have different tastes. Bottom line is. Do your own research, nevermind all the bullshit on this thread. The first couple pages made me sick from all the misinformation about lifts, brakes and suspension, etc. Buy something that YOU like, that YOU will be happy with. The Tacoma in general is a very capable truck, regardless of what submodel you choose.
