The 2016’s are reported to have the most issues of the 3rd gens. You said to talk you off the ledge.....

I would check VIN for production date. The earliest 16’s made had more issues.

I think you can do better. Hot seller been at dealership 23 days and on car gurus for 51 must be a hot seller.

You could probably buy brand new for only a bit more money.

Maybe look for a new ‘17. The dealer near me still has a few. You gotta be able to get a steal on one of them. I know one was quicksand and can’t remember the other colors.

About the longbed, you can always get a bed extender (the cage type or kayak one). Not sure what you haul mainly. But if you could get a killer deal on a new ‘17 still on the lot but could only get a short bed... Definitely do it. Either way even if you buy the one you showed us, you will still have a good truck though.

Dang man... Did someone in a 3rd gen almost run you over one day or have to pull you out when you were stuck in your truck or something? Lots of hatin. Lol. I love the piss out of mine!

It's a Toyota on a Nissan lot so you have some leverage. Low miles and the package you want so just get the price you want and you will be good to go. You will save some on tax too (I guess. Sales tax here plus my excise tax on my new 18 is gonna hit me hard.......)
